Sir,
Mr. Henry Glen has informed the Secretary of War that
there were built last fall at Schenectady three three handed boats for
the United States, and which were employed in transporting of Goods
to the Northward, and that after completing that object they were
delivered into a Gentlemans care in Schenectady
The Secretary requests you will give him such informa:
tion respecting of the name of the person in whose charge the said Boats
now are, and the condition in which they are in
