Sir,
Lieutenant Freeman Paymaster of [?} Corps of Artillerists and Engineers stationed at West Point has requested the prices of the several articles of clothing arms and accoutrements delivered to the Soldiers in order that he may make stoppages from the pay of several deserters and others who have lost or destroyed any of them__the Prices of yClothing I can furnish I from the Contract_but I can find no papers in the Office to enable me to fix the prices of yc different articles of which the Arms and Accoutrements consist.
I will thank you if you would direct a list of the prices to be made out and sent to me as early as may be as the post will tomorrow set out for West Point.
