Sir
Lieut Nehemiah Freeman in his letter to me of the 15th Instant, mentions the Sentences of a Court Martial passed the 2nd Ulte on three men at the Garrison of West Point, whereby it appears that they are to reimburse out of their pay as it becomes due, the Value of Certain Cloathing and Arms at the Contract price--which price he desires to be informed of in order that he may be enabled to comply with the decision of the Court -- I have therefore to request Sir that you will be pleased to direct that I may be 404 furnished with the Contract prices of those Articles--To enable me to give W Freeman the necessary information.
I am Sir etc William Simmons
