I Certify that there is due to the Scouts of Washington County State of Pennsylvania The sum of Two thousand nine hundred forty eight Dollars and Sixty five cents being for the Balance of their Pay for services performed between 1st of January and 30th November 1795 inclusive which a. is payable to Absolom Baird Brigade Inspector of said County who is to be held accountable for the due application thereof- William Simmons Dr 2,948 65/100 The Secy of War.
