notable phrase

since I saw you last evening I have considered your proposition of running the fasing futtocks for the ports to the topside
opinion it will be attended with some difficulty and perhaps be the means of retarding the business
opinion it would be the best work
timbers will receive great support from the quarter deck there will not be a necessity as of to has no support but the strength of the timber
scarph of all the timber is very good
wish you would explode the word 'possible' and introduce if can be conveniently had
calling attention of the master builders to the scarphs of those timbers
difiiculties and delays has happened in procuring the timber that no others ought to be thrown in the way without the most absolute necessity
call the attention of the secretary to that part of Capt. Truxent's letter relating to the knees that he may have an answer
