Description

Received three missing letters, delay for delivery mentioned in letter from Gen. Scott. Due to delay in receiving answer on boundary, Wayne drew boundary as the Miami river. Discussed promotions and ranking of particular officers. E. Harris arrested, Wayne granted him time to obtain testimony for his defense. Increasing number of sick has strained hospital stores. Hospital has been moved into the open woods in an attempt to combat putrid fever. Mentioned poor state of recruits, being old, infirm, or of improper stature.
