Sir
The Treasurer of the United States will remit to you the sum of One hundred fifty seven dollars & seventy four cents to be transmitted to Lieut. John McClel= =lan at West Point, being the balance of his Recruiting, Contingent Account, and for his subsistence up to the 24th of
April 1795 inclusive for which sum please take his duplicate Receipts to be transmitted to this Office.
