Completing the Carriages
Description
The ten carriages for three-pounders are not finished for want of iron for the wheels. Bryant has sent to New York for iron and has been expecting it for some time. He has sent to Boston for six tons of iron for the six-pounder carriages and he expects it to arrive in a few daya. They are now at work on the carriages for the howitzers which should be completed during December..
