Secretary Hamilton informs the Governor of Maryland that some riots have apeared in the upper part of Baltimore County, Maryland, connected with the Whiskey Rebellion of western Pennsylvania. Urges that the governor quickly take steps to eradicate the "evil, which radially threatens the order, peace and tranquility of the Country."
