Estimate of monies for the Supervisor of New York

Description

The Commissioner of the Revenue sends an estimate of monies that will be wanted by Nicholas Fish, supervisor of New York, for pickled provisions for the axe men and carpenters under John Morgan, and which may be wanted for advances to them - cheese, butter, liquors, and molasses, by the Collector of New London, Connecticut. Also informs Hamilton that Tench Francis has found that sulfur may be procured at less than the cost of importation, and that he has been ordered to secure 100 to 120 tons.
