Secretary of War Henry Knox informs Alexander Hamilton that he has appointed as naval agents Henry Jackson at Boston, Jeremiah Yellot at Baltimore, and Henry Blagge at New York. Others will be named soon. Charleston will not be one of the ports for frigate construction. John Morgan will be a constructor at and Joshua Humphreys at Philadelphia.
