You are accountable on my books for 746 dollars 81 cents of the sum you received 26th July 1792 to be delivered to Capt.
Wm ???ton, which I request you will take immediate measures to exonerate yourself - In consequence of a settlement of one of the officers to whom a part of that sum was to have been paid renders it necessary for your own safety to admit of no delay ~
