for the Department of War, that it should be promulgated to the Citizens of Kentucky the promptitude of the Government to re- ward them for their services.
I therefore request you to insert in your paper the inclosed adver= tisement to be continued reqularly for the term of Eight Weeks _ the expense I will discharge on your draft ~
