Gentleman

It has been represented

to this Department that the Money placed in
the hands of William Morton to discharge
the arrears of certain Militia of Kentucky
for their service in the Year 1791 has been
refused payment, I have therefore transmitted
to Mr Bradford an advertisement to be pub=
lished in his paper, but lest any accident
should happen by one transmission, I take
the liberty to enclose a duplicate thereof to
you with a copy of my letter to him, re=
questing that you will please if any thing
should impede its progress to have the same
published ~
