They ask him to expedite the Council of the Indians so that they meet with them without further delay. They hope to arrive at Sandusky at the same time as the Indians.

Sir,
We [undecipherable] their opportunity to inform you of our arrival at their place where we shall wait untill w have intelligence that the nations of Indian ar the Rapids of the Miamis are reado to move to Sandinky. We shall be greatly obliged by sour endeavours to expedite the Councils of the Indians, that we may meet tjem without more delay.
You will add to our obligations by sending us the earliest notice when me may expect the Indian nations will arrive at Sandusky, that we may be there ar the same time.
We wrote you on the 30th of May, but having received no answer, are apprehensive our letter did not reach you
