Postponement of the 1st of June Treaty Date

Description

Lincoln, Pickering and Randolph state the purpose of their business as commissioners of United States to hold Treaty with Indians at Sandusky. They acknowledge McKee's information that the Indians would not be ready until the end of June, hence a postponement of the 1 June treaty date. Commissioners express gratitude for this information. Ask that McKee let Indian leadership know that the commissioners have arrived. Express their desire for a general and permanent peace.
