Sir,
I request that you will furnish Captain Prior, and the Indian Chiefs under his care the means of transportation by water from Pittsburgh to Fort Washington.
Let their accommodations be safe and comfortable, and if any supply of ammunition is necessary for their safety in descending the River you will issue a sufficient quantity accordingly.
I pray you not delay their embarkation at Pittsburgh.
