From North 3d Street number 73, Lardney refers to Resolution of Congress 16 January 1793 recommending to Governor of Georgia procurement of iron to make into steel. Refers to Legislature recommending to Colonel Patton to agree with present owners to take this works to be legally forfeited to the government. If owners refuse, legislature will take necessary steps to put into possession of proper person. Larndney says he declined having anything to do with business. Colonel Benjamin Flower entered into written agreement with Thomas Maybery to continue inf force for 3 years.
