Title

Winter Quarters, Etc.

Description

General Wayne and four hundred men have for several days been examining the Indian shore of the Ohio for a place for winter quarters. He will probably fix on a spot 23 miles below Pittsburgh. Major Rudolph with the dismounted cavalry and a party of infantry went down the river for what looks like a long passage. Asks Hodgdon to give his plant a place in his house over the winter.
