Description

Morrow inquires about the pay of himself and his men. He had asked Capt. O'Hara about same but O'Hara had nothing for him because there is something in the articles that he does not understand. Morrow therefore asks Hodgdon because winter is coming and the men are much in need of their pay, rations, and provisions.

Oharon [James O'hara] a fue Days past, Respecting pay for the Men & my Self, and Hee tells mee that theire is Now pay Com on for us, Neither Can HeeDow Eney Thing for us, as Hee Sais their is Sumthing in the artickls that Hee Dont Understand and Desiers mee to Right to you to Now How We aim to Receive our pay, And as Wee air Much in Want of it to porvide for the Winter I Hope as Soon as this Coms to Hand that you Will set Mee Now How Wee air to Receive your pay, & allsow 21 Day Ar Battions of provisions that is Due to us for the time that We Wair Coming Wh [ page is cut off ]
