Description
St. Clair discusses his willingness to resign or face a court martial, but not a public trial. He believes that only a military tribunal is appropriate for military crimes and misconduct. If someone of the same rank can be sent to take command, he will resign immediately. Stated that the misfortune of the Wabash campaign can be attributed to St. Clair.
