Arms Shipment to Charleston
Description
Knox is directed to have transported on the ship now riding at anchor in the harbor and sailing soon to Charleston one hundred stands of arms with accoutrements and knapsacks complete. Also included will be powder, lead, cartidge paper, and bullet moulds to make musket cartridges to equip 400 men with 200 rounds each. The fifty horseman saddles with accoutrements will also be completed according to contract.
