Secretary of Wars Warrant for 8282 Drs for 6 months pension on Invalids from 4th March 1791 to 4 September [undecipherable]
August 8th 1791--With other Instructions

Sir/
Pay out of the funds furnished you by the Honorable the Secretary of the Treasury for that purpose the sum of Eight thousand two hundred eighty two Dollars to the Invalid Pensioners of the United State named in the list transmitted to you from this office on the ninth day of february last, deducting Seth Boardman & Nathaniel Gove who are transferred to the State of Pennsylvania--and allowing to the following Persons (who were inserted for two years in said list) their respective pensions viz. Joseph [undecipherable], John Shutlief, Daniel Culver & Severinus Roch at the rate of five Dollars per month Edward Scott & Jacob Newkerk at the rate of three Dollars per month, William White at the rate of three and one third Dollar per month and David Wearer at the rate of two Dollars per month being the half of the sums specified opposite their names respectively and the moiety of their annual Pension, commencing the fourth day of march last and ending the fourth day of September next insuing for which payment this shall be your sufficient warrant.
Given at the War office in the City of Philadelphia this eight day of august one thousand seven hundred ninety one. HKnox, Secy of War
