Autograph Letter Signed
Title
My Mare, Etc.
Description
Hodgdon's mare should have arrived at Pittsburgh and if neither Swan nor Pickering are willing to take her on account, deliver her to the person who brought this letter and, if necessary, provide him five dollars for her expenses on the road. Relative to the bells wanted for the pack horses, if they have not been made yet, Hodgdon recommends that they be made in Lancaster where they will be made better and cheaper.
