I have received yours of the 24thmay upon cession of your account and advertising to the circumstances of settling from similar claims and also considering the manner of your executing the trust reposed in you. I am of opinion that further sum of forty five dollars ought to be paid to you
But this sum must be paid to your order. The accounts of the Invalids must be settled at the Treasury and my accounts cannot be mixed with that transaction'
