Howell is transmitting to Lieut. Porter the first bill of exchange drawn by the Treasurer on John Habersham, Collector for the Port of Savannah, for $1784.06. This sum is in full the pay due the officers, staff, non-commissioned officers, and privates of Capt. Joseph Savage's Company of Artillery through December 1790. Howell expects Major Gale to muster Porter's troops through May 1791.
