Sir
I have Received yours of the 20th Ultimo together with the Muster & Inspection Rolls, to which I shall endeavor to pay the Necessary Attention, I have also Received your favor of the 5th Instant, and shall pay particularly attend to your Instructions therein
Messrs Turnbul & Marmie are now in this country and have directed their Lawyers to prosecute their Ejectments in the Supreme Court, which is to be held here at this place, sometime in this Month. They are very Confident of being put in possession of the Fort by the Sheriff Immediately after the Court. I Presume Sir You have employed a Councel to attend this Business at Court. I have Reason to believe they have Employed all the Lawyers of Note that attend this Councel--
