Philadelphia 10th May 1791
Sir
The bearer comes forward with two
Loads of Public stores as per the enclosed invoice.
The saddles, Bridles, halters &c â are for the Draggoons,
and must be religously kept for their
use. On no pretence must One of these saddles
bridles or other accoutrements be given out, as
it would destroy the uniformity of the Calvalry
which is meant to be a compleat Corps. this
hint to a Man of your caution will I am certain
be sufficient. The Caps for the Men will come
on with the remainder of their accourtrements
by the next waggon.

hundred horses to mount
the Cavalry on. Will thank
you to look round, and contract
for such proportion of them as
can be trained cheap and suitable for this purpose in the
country where they are to act.
