On this view, there will be six hundred and eighty three men wanted, to complete the establishment, exclusively of the one hundred and seventy seven men in Georgia, inlisted on the former rate of pay - The Secretary of War proposes to complete the two said companies of artillery in Georgia, by drafts from Capt. Smith's company of infantry, which besides being sufficient for that purpose, will leave a detachment of said company of twenty five non commissioned and privates - These two companies of artillery, and the said detachment to be retained in service, upon the old pay, until they can be conveniently replaced by recruits upon the new establishment - their numbers ... 77.
Conjectured to have reinlisted, or who will reinlist on the Ohio ... 200
The number of additional battalion .... 156

Wanted to complete the said battalion 148 ... 304

The recruiting service to commence immediately in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey & New York to complete the number of troops on if Ohio ... 484
Wanted to complete Smith's company - 51 - But it would be proper to recruit the whole company, and discharge such of the aforesaid detachment as would not reinlist upon the new establishment ... 51
