supplies procured in consequence of those exertions are equal at the least tot he greatest requisitions made and much greater than the commanding officer of the troops expected
my brother is now writing you on the subject of the contract
to the public for supplying rations will terminat
confides in your liberality and the equity of certain circumstances so far as to hope their employment in the department of the quartermaster will be continued
