We shall not hear Mr. Strong on Sunday. He embarked yesterday in our Carriage yesterday with that expectation, but our Coachman in turning astreet too suddenly overturned the Carriage, which is much broken and we much bruised but not capitally--We do not so much repine at our mysfortune as we rejoice at escaping greater evils, which we might have suffered
We have had
our carriage repaired I might have set out this day, but a violent storm prevents. We shall [undecipherable] the [undecipherable] fair day, and shall hope for the pleasure of seeing you in the beginning of the next week
Yours sincerelyHKnox
A Vessell has just arrived in 7 days from Halifax. The English packet had just arrived there in 25 days from Falmouth She brings an account that every thing has the appearance of War--forty whalemen, with their families have
arrived in Vessell from Halifax They have [undecipherable] returned to their own country being apprehensive of being impressed
