Dear Sir
I received yours of the 6th June--the addoption of the Constitution of Rhode Island is a great event--
I much believe the revenue officers for Rhodes Island will be approved before your arrival-- If they should I will [undecipherable] be the [undecipherable] your desires become Burton has informed me that another office, and not the [undecipherable] is his object-- It would be [undecipherable] if my [undecipherable] could be [undecipherable] the arrival appointment or arrival of federal senators for Rhode Island
