Letter
to the Lieutenan
of Harrison County
13 April 1790
This measure is to be considered only as a temporary expedient, until either the danger ceases, or some general arrangement of defence shall be made
-You will please to acknowledge the receipt of this letter, and to inform me of the measures which you may adopt in consequence thereof, or of those which were in operation at the time of its receipt.
