In compliance with your request of this day
morning. I do myself the Honor to inform you that Lieut
Samuel Armstrong paymaster to the eighth Regiment
of Massachusetts [undecipherable] received the monies for the pay four
months pay of said Regt. in the month of September 1783 on
which a balance remains due from him
