Cumberland County SS I do certify that Ephraim Steel before whom the wether power of Attorney was acknowledged was at the time of said acknowledgement and now is a Justice of the peace and of the Court of Common pleas for the said County and that due faith and credit is and ought to be given as well in Court of Justice as thereout
In Testimony whereof I have hereunt set my Hand and the peablse seal of said County the 24th day of March [undecipherable] 1790

We the Subscriber Commissioned Officers, Hon Commissioned officers, and private of the late Army of the United States, entitled to lands in pursuance of several reserves of Congress-Have made, ordained, constituted, and appointed, and by those presents do make, ordain, constitute, and appoint our trusty Friend General William Irvine of the county of Cumberland, and commonwealth of Pennsylvania, now at New York, our term and lawfull Attorney for us and is a our names respecturely to ask, demand, apply for, and [undecipherable] our, and cast of our Courants for military Counties of Land from the Secort Sig [undecipherable] the [undecipherable] office, a such [undecipherable] or persons as are, or may be appointed for the purpose of ofcuring the said Warrants--Gwing and Granting unto our said Attorney "by the presents all I will pown, an authority to do, and perform all things necessary to be done as silly" and effectually, and to all intents, and purpose as in, and Attorney & under to [undecipherable] our road Attorney "to make and appoint--Ratifying, allowing, and holding for firm to be done in [undecipherable] and [undecipherable] In testimony interest we have percents just our hands, and Seals this twenty fourth day of March H Dc 1790

Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Court of Common please of the said County - personally appeared Jacob Young, Timothy Rourk soldiers and John McClelland Drummer and Samuel Jacob Juster, John Maginnes, William Gray, James Conray, Charles Rowan, Alexander Burns, soldiers int he Pnna Line, James McFarlen, Lieutenant, James Ramsey, Robert Derompell, Thomas Boyd, Patrick Duggan, Allan Haerbolt, Moore Biggs, Thomas West, soldiers in the Penna line, and Thomas Butts, soldier in Genl Hazens Regt Christopher Finnegan and John Montgomery soldiers in the Penna Line and acknowledged the above power of attorney to be their Act and deed. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day & year above written.
