Your letter of the 29 Dec last is received conceiving you entitled to the years pay allowed to [officers who]
became supernumerary in consequence of being prisoners I am willing to issue a certificate to you or to your order when required.
The letter you make mention of as having some time since wrote has not come to hand or it would have been answered.
I wish to observe to you that in consequince of your becoming supernumerary, you are entitled to the gratuity of 300 acres of land from the United States warrants for officers. A ca will be ready for delivery about the first of April next.
