Sir
I have revised your Account and agreable to the statement now made there is a balance due you of 46/90. I could not with propriety allow you the interest due on the certificate which you have returned into the Office for the reason that the ballance which stood against you on your settlement was due to the US previous to the date of the certificate above mentioned-- I have therefore credited you by the certificate in the sum expressed on the face of it-- +
Inclosed is a certificate of your having Closed your Accounts as Pmaster in my office [undecipherable cross out]
