Philadelphia May 24th 1787

Sir

I have just returned from Mr. Milligan he informs me if I have any friend in New York that will call at his office respecting the business inclosed that it may be done to my Satisfaction it is respecting two Cattle wich ware taken from Joseph Bradfield Wilest the Army lay at Wite Marsh - as I have no friend there but yourself shold thank you to call at his office and if you cannot get the matter settled be so obliging as to informe me wich way I am to proceed as soon as possible - Your Compliance will much oblige your friend and Humble Servant
