Title

Curious case of Andrew Forrest

Description

Andrew Forrest of the 3rd Regiment has had his depreciation settled until August 1780. Mr. Carleton's certificate says he was exchanged in October 1780. John Woodside indicates that Forrest resigned to Colonel Richard Butler and desired not to be continued. Asks Howell if he would refer to any Army papers and provide sentiments and opinion respecting Forrest's case.
