Sir
On the 10th day of January last, I made out did myself the honor to lay before you as compleat a return of [undecipherable] in my possession would permit that [undecipherable] founded on a principle that Mr. Dunscombe who settled well the Virga Line had Marqu' to
the Offices [?] account his own [?] the Officer was to [?] certificates that
spree & any of 1782 & 1783 [?] it was actually received
[?] or not ant that many advances had also been deducted; but
having [?] served I made this [?] the account of the
on [?] the settlements of the line were actually made and entered
[?] in the Books at this offices, I find ome [?]
careful reasons that the ballances are special differ
very considerably when ascertained ffrom the [?]
settlements. I have therefore made a ´[?]
[?] but will do [?] better to the public and the cordi[?]
and Sums what will show the real soon to be paid
to the Lines & the a retains a [?] this the same
[?] Officers have received beyond the pay that
was due to them, and [?] ought to be refunded
unless their demands for subsistances and suffeting
to sevrves them.
