Description
Francis Farren is included on the rolls of the 3rd Regiment PA. up to Oct. 1, 1778 but after that, his name is missing. Since the recipient has the appropriate musters, perhaps he can provide the necessary documentation. The author also does not have the rolls of the 12th Regiment and therefore cannot ascertain the time of Farren's enlistment although he is on the pay rolls for May 1777.
