Petition of John Stevens
Description
Report, delivered to the Secretary of Congress, on the petition of John Stevens, referred to the Commissioner for settling the accounts of the late army. Stevens was appointed Captain in the Connecticut Regiment in January 1776. He was made a prisoner by the British at Cedars in Canada in May 1776. Stevens died in May 1785.
