Sir,

On searching for a James Donley who served in the 4th Reg. of Artillery as a Seven months man I laid my hands on the Muster rolls for the months of Aug. Sep. & October taken in November 1780 and on examing. the returns of the Seven Months men formerly transmitted you with those musters I find that the persons mentioned in the enclosed return were omitted.
