Dear Sir,
I have just received a letter directed to John Parragh, left by himself for my perusal by which I cannot come at the ballance of 200 dollars witheld from me and on which subject I have already written to you as I find form Charley's Letter. I have enclosed an account against the United States for Two hundred dollars What I am in debt to the States, or to our own particular State I know not, but that it must be a mere trifle & therefore be kind enough to examine the accounts against me & (as I desired in a former Letter) deliver a Certificate for the residue to Charles Darragh whose receipt shall be sufficient
I am Sir
Your Humle. Servt.
Heny. D Pursell
Jos. Howell Esqr.
