Philada. 5th. Feb.y 1786.

Dr. Sir,

I will be greatly obliged to you, on the receival of this by Col. Oswald, to write me by the first post whether the late resole of Congress to the P. M. Genl. relative to the settleing all army accounts would include my case — I have wrote you twice on the occasion, am sorry to trouble you surther as I have received no answer from you, and do not like to take the journey on uncertainty.
