Sir,
Yours of the 31st of Decemr 1785 Never Came to hand till the 14 Instant. And I have embraced this opportunity as it is the first that has offered to forward Sixty two pr of Breeches the deficencies of Capt Strongs Company, as he took eight Pr for the Non Commissioned Officers. They will be Deliverd you by Mr. Jacob Nelson.
On 23[d] Decem[r]. 1785 I wrote you by Mr. Elias Frits whith with whom I sent the waggon Covers and paid him for the freight. I also wrote you On 6th & 13th Instant by the post - in the first was the enclosed the monthly returns. In the Latter was A Return from Sergt Hudson, and informing you that Sergt Bule had Returnd.
if you have any Commands you can Communicate them by directing the Letter to me and requesting the Stage man to Leave them at the widow Warrens in the highlands where I will find Once a week. I am Sir your most Obet Hum. Servt
