transcription

This map is copied from one drawn by the Tassel, and some other of the headmen of the Cherokees, to describe their territorial claims. It is not known whether the line from the mountain, six miles south of Nolichucky, will touch the North Carolina line to the east or west of the South Carolina Indian boundary; but it is supposed to be to the west.
