Description

Henry Knox, Secretary at War, notifies Clement Biddle, contractor, that following the march of Captain Zeigler's company the recruiting service will be suspended. Knox directs Biddle to forward his accounts to the Comptroller for payment. Biddle has issued rations to these troops.

War Office 3 Nov. 1785.
Dear Sir,
After the march of Capn Zeigler's com-
pany the recruiting Service will be suspended
until March. In the mean time you will
please to forward your accounts to the comp-
troller and upon their being passed, you
shall be paid for the rations you have
issued.
