Dear Sir
I have to acknowledge the Receipt of the Certificates as Numbered in you Letter by Mr. Dunscomb as likewise the margins [undecipherable] lost - Mr. Milligan has requested a coppy of all the Registers in the Office - and the multiplicity of Business occasioned by the Counterfit Certificates - induced me with the approbation of Mr. Milligan to employ Mr. Swan late Ensn in the American Regiment and Mr. Millen as additional clerks until this business can be compleated - I am greatly obliged to you in sending the money to me for it came very opportimely
