Baltimore 26th Octr 1784
Some time since I put papers into
Major Pierces hands respecting Capt. Howard's Accounts
of this state. I saw Mr. Pierce on Sunday
last and he said he had sent for them to Philada
In case you had forwarded them to Annapolis
you will be pleased to deliver them to the Bearer
Mr. Nelson who will take charge of them.
I am yours &c James McHenry.
